I’m a 1st year PhD student at the University of Colorado- Boulder.  I graduated with my BS in May 2017 as a Mathematics and Computer Science double major at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL.  My research interests intersect Theoretical Machine Learning, Algorithmic Game Theory, and Computational Economics.

Currently, I’m a part of the CS Theory lab at University of Colorado at Boulder, working under Dr. Rafael Frongillo on convex surrogate loss functions for machine learning applications.

Recently, fellow CU Student Izzy Aguiar featured me on our departmental get-to-know-you, The Neural Network, where you can learn some fun, quirky facts about me.

At Florida Southern, I worked under Dr. David Mathias, who supervised my undergraduate thesis entitled, “Social Trends in the Iterated Prisoner’s Dilemma.”  We published an extended abstract at GECCO 2017 and the full paper is currently in progress.
